Explain the three principles of using language inclusively

What will be an ideal response?

First, in referring to individuals and groups of people, use the names they wish to be called.
Ethical speakers succeed by being audience-centered. This way you take precautions to address people in
an appropriate and respectful way.

Second, use the "people first" rule when referring to individuals who have disabilities. Place people
before their disabilities, such as stating "a person with disabilities," as opposed to "a disabled person."

Lastly, avoid using language that is gender-biased. Language is sexist if it "assumes that male is the
norm. Nonsexist language treats all people equally and either does not refer to a person's sex when it is
irrelevant or refers to men and women in symmetrical ways when their gender is relevant."
