How did Archaic Indians differ from their Paleo-Indian ancestors?
What will be an ideal response?
Ans: Unlike the Paleo-Indians, Archaic peoples were excellent basket makers in order to collect and store seeds, roots, nuts, and berries they gathered from wild plants. They prepared food from the plants using stones for grinders. Archaic peoples did not establish permanent villages, but would return to the same valley or meadow every year.
