Describe three examples of pre-crime assistance where an individual would be considered a co-principal in the subsequent commission of a crime
What will be an ideal response?
Answers may vary widely but the student response should include examples where the accused purposefully solicits, encourages, directs, aids, or attempts to aid another person in committing an offense. Examples would include a lookout or getaway car driver at a robbery, a leader of an organized crime family, or a person who provides equipment or weapons to another knowing that they will be used to commit a criminal offense. Another example would be where a jailer purposely leaves a cell unlocked to facilitate an escape.
