What is the difference between third gear and second gear?
What will be an ideal response?
In third gear, power enters through the input shaft, which is engaged to the countergear. The synchro sleeve has moved to the rear, and the clutch teeth of third gear are engaged. This locks third gear to the mainshaft.
In second gear, the synchro sleeve in the rear of the transmission is moved forward to engage the second-gear clutch teeth. This connects second gear to the output shaft.
