Describe the CSMA non-persistent protocol.
What will be an ideal response?
In this protocol, a station senses the channel. If the channel is idle, it transmits its frame immediately and if the channel is busy, it will wait for a random amount of time and re-sense the channel and repeat this procedure again. The random waiting time will reduce the chance of collision but will waist the channel idle time if it is a long time period.
