What are the limitations of a hand-held computer?
What will be an ideal response?
Unlike the personal computer that can display a complete circuit network, hand-held programmers have limited display capabilities. Some hand-held programmers display a rung of logic with up to four horizontal lines, while others only display one line or one element at a time. The hand-held programmer may not have the full programming features of the personal computer programmer, and requires more “keystrokes” to actually enter a program. Hand-helds typically have restricted access to the processor memory. Finally, a major advantage of using a personal computer for programming is the ability of the personal computer to store the program on disk and/or on the hard drive.
