Discuss what an "enriched environment" would look like for a child who is getting ready to go to school, and comment on how the presence or absence of such a setting might impact the likelihood that a child would develop a learning disorder.

What will be an ideal response?

An enriched environment would be an environment in which the basic needs of the child are met (food, clothing, shelter, love, respect, health care, and an absence of toxins). It could also include toys and things that the child could safely explore and manipulate. Children exposed to impoverished environments show that these environments decrease learning and lead to developmental/learning delays. This increases the likelihood that they will develop a learning disorder.
