Describe structural and parasitic drag.
What will be an ideal response?
Structural drag is resistance to air flow around object exposed to the air stream. The structural drag force on the object is a function of its shape. Parasitic drag is the drag associated with the surface length wet by the moving air stream. The longer the surface length the more drag force will be associated with the object.
