Hormone blockers can disrupt the action of the endocrine system by interfering with natural hormone balance.  Hormone blockers can interfere with the sex hormones of males and females, and they can affect sexual development and reproduction.  Examples of hormone blockers include certain herbicides, DDT, PCBs, and mercury.
