How does a bacteriophage become a transducing phage?

What will be an ideal response?

During the lytic phage life cycle, the bacterial DNA is degraded and, rarely, a piece of bacterial DNA is packaged into a progeny phage head instead of phage DNA. These phages are then transducing phages, which can carry genetic material to other bacteria.
