There are several approaches to triangulation scaling, reliability, and convergent validation. Discuss each.

What will be an ideal response?

Ans: Scaling: is the conversion of qualitative data into scaling outcomes or quantitative data. There needs to be some sort of approach for converting qualitative data into quantitative data. Reliability: involves the use of similar methods of data collection or a within-methods approach such as multiple reviewers interpreting the same data. In this approach, the researcher may use interview methods for both quantitative and qualitative methods. The quantitative approach would employ the use of an interview with well-defined questions and responses, and the qualitative approach may use a more open-ended interviews. Convergent validation: involves the use of different but complementary methods of data collection across methods.
