What are the two major sources of blogs? What is the significant difference between these two types?
What will be an ideal response?
Blogs may be non-media connectors if they are independent of any formal news organization, or they can be channels of those media. Many non-media bloggers may appear and behave as journalists, but, in fact, not have any formal journalistic training and experience. Blogs hosted by the mass media industry generally employ writers who have worked in the craft, either in print or broadcast outlets. Trained journalists expect a certain protocol from marketers when pitching stories and also expect marketers to follow conventional editorial standards. Free-lance bloggers do not necessarily count on such protocols and procedures not might they entirely understand their necessity.
