Design two similar studies that have multiple independent and dependent variables. Design
one study as a randomized experiment and the second as a quasi -experimental design.
What will be an ideal response?
In both studies, one should consider how to control for secondary variables that might
confound the study results. In the randomized experiment, participants should be
randomly assigned to experimental conditions and all independent variables should be
manipulated. The quasi-experimental study could be set up in a similar fashion;
however, should include one variable that is not manipulated, such as age or gender.
