Define ecclesia and give an example

What will be an ideal response?

An ecclesia is a state religion, with a religious leader or a secular leader who is heavily influenced by a religious elite. All members of the society must belong to the church; there is no separation between church and state. In the past, the Anglican church in England and the Catholic church in France were examples. Today, the state religion of Saudi Arabia is Islam and visitors are not permitted to practice a different religion.
