When communicating with a person from another culture, you can observe closely by
watching for implied messages about values, norms, roles, and rules about his/her
culture. You can also research another culture by studying history, art, geography and
other aspects of culture. You can also study the language of that group. Although you
obtain research about a culture, be careful of making stereotypical judgments about
individuals based upon your research.
