What does the Grashof number mean?
What will be an ideal response?
The Grashof number is a ratio of the inertial forces, or inertia of a fluid, to the
viscous shear forces of the fluid? It is actually the square of this ratio and is used
in free or natural convection because the induced velocity of fluid flow is a
function of the square root of gravity, the height of a chimney effect region, and
a difference in temperature between a hot fluid and a cooler surrounding fluid.
Thus, it is convenience to square the expression to eliminate the square root.

Which characteristic is not generally true of a starburst galaxy?
A) The observed features that cause us to classify it as a "starburst" must be only temporary phenomena in the galaxy's history. B) The observed features of the starburst are thought to be caused by the presence of a supermassive black hole in the galaxy's center. C) Supernovae occur so frequently that their effects combine to drive a galactic wind that blows material into intergalactic space. D) Its rate of star formation is many times higher than the rate of star formation in the Milky Way.
