How has this textbook and your methods course helped you prepare to teach diverse students while maintaining classroom management?
What will be an ideal response?
Many classroom management problems occur when students feel their concerns or needs are not being met. When students experience gender or cultural bias, they react. I have learned to use gender and cultural diversity to strengthen my approach to teaching. Each child, regardless of gender or cultural background will be considered on equal footing in my class. I will use cultural diversity as a way to show all students that learning science is a global need that will help with societal issues. My experience as a student teacher will enable me to begin my planning for this important approach to teaching.
