What will be an ideal response?
At best, there is only limited evidence-based results for the efficacy of reality/choice therapy, even though a number of empirical studies have been conducted on this theoretical approach. On Wubbolding’s website, the question was posed: Is reality therapy evidence-based? Wubbolding responded by noting that research already exists that reality therapy is effective. The issue is: Do such studies satisfy the American Psychological Association’s criteria for evidence-based established therapy? Wubbolding cited 55 research studies on reality therapy.
