Describe the difference between core ties and significant ties in connection with online communication.
What will be an ideal response?
Core ties are people with whom you have a very close relationship and are in frequent contact via online communication. A person often discusses important matters in life with core ties and often seeks their assistance in times of need. Significant ties, on the other hand, are people who are more than mere acquaintances but with whom a strong connection does not exist. A person is not likely to seek help from people who are significant ties.
