Explain the difference between mass and weight.
What will be an ideal response?
Mass is a fundamental property but weight is actually a force (mass times acceleration). The mass of something does not change; the weight does. Your mass on earth is the same as your mass on the moon, but your weight is different because the acceleration due to gravity is different.
