Describe the Malthus theorem and the exponential growth curve

What will be an ideal response

Thomas Malthus argued that the food supply only increases arithmetically, while the population grows geometrically. If births then go unchecked, he claimed that eventually the population will outstrip its food supply. The exponential growth curve is a pattern of growth in which numbers double during approximately equal intervals, with growth accelerating in the later stages.
