What is the “profile” of officers who are feloniously killed, and what are some related lessons that should be taught in police training and then applied by officers on the street?

What will be an ideal response?

In general, officers feloniously killed in the line of duty are not rookies. They tend to be killed during potentially dangerous situations.

The message that should be relayed to officers is to be watchful, to follow good “officer survival” procedures and training at all time, and to be prepared to use some level of appropriate force if necessary.
