What will be an ideal response?

Cooperative learning is a peer intervention strategy that pairs a heterogeneous group of children together to jointly accomplish specific tasks or activities. The four essentially elements of cooperative learning include (1) interdependence, (2) communication, (3) accountability, and (4) group process. Interdependence refers to the idea that all group members depend or rely on each other to accomplish a task or activity; individual members cannot complete the task alone. Communication must be positive and face-to-face where possible. The goal is to get children talking with one another, making requests of each other to complete activities. Accountability refers to each child's "part" in the group work. Each member must be responsibly for contributing to the activity in some way. Finally, group process is the idea that small group works as a team, where children must interact, take-turns, communicate, and generally work as one unit.
