Describe the three layers of the eye

The outermost layer of the eye is the fibrous layer, composed of the sclera and cornea. The middle layer of the eye is called the vascular layer and includes the iris, pupil, lens, and choroid as well as blood vessels. The innermost layer is the nervous layer, composed of the retina.
