ANS: Online learning makes it possible to take courses that would otherwise not be available geographically. It also allows you to work on your own time clock . . . enabling students to work full time and take courses at odd hours. Online courses also introduce students to others from varying parts of the world, whereas face-to-face classes usually include individuals more geographically relevant. The disadvantage, in an asynchronous environment, is that questions are not immediately addressed by colleagues or teachers.
