How can stereolithography printing help the manufacturing process?
What will be an ideal response?
Equipment called Stereolithography or 3-D printing can speed up the manufacturing process by creating a physical prototype directly from a CAD 3-D model. The Stereolithography printer creates a 3-D model by slicing the 3-D CAD data into thin cross sections and modulates a laser that creates a 0.0050 thick layer of photosensitive liquid epoxy plastic. The printer builds the prototype layer by layer from the bottom up.
