Discuss macronutrients, micronutrients, and essential nutrients

What will be an ideal response?

Carbohydrates, proteins, and lipids are macronutrients, and vitamins and minerals are micronutrients. Macronutrients make up the bulk of our diet and are required in relatively large amounts. Micronutrients are required from the diet in much smaller amounts. Nutrients that cannot be made by the body are essential nutrients. There are as many as 50 essential nutrients, including certain amino acids and fatty acids, most vitamins, and all minerals.
