Describe the differences between a cross-draft booth and a downdraft spray booth.

What will be an ideal response?

Crossdraft booths are booths that draw the incoming air from the shop, generally through the booth doors. The air travels over the length of the vehicle to the opposite end of the booth, where it is filtered, then vented to the outside of the building. Downdraft booths draw air in from outside, and THEN the air is filtered, heated to the proper spray temperature, and filtered again before entering the booth from on top of the vehicle. The air is drawn around and under the vehicle, where it is filtered, then exits through floor vents.
