Explain the concept of marginalization and explain how it leads to crime
What will be an ideal response?
Marginalization occurs when a greater number of people are thrust outside the economic mainstream by being forced into low-paying and temporary jobs. When this occurs, a larger portion of the population is forced to live in areas conducive to crime, and their commitment to the systems declines. This causes weakened bonds to society, which can foster criminal behavior.
