Demonstrate signs of caring, compassion, and understanding. Can become overly concerned about others' feelings and overlook their faults. Can intrude on others' privacy, become too emotional in giving feedback, and fail to discriminate when developing relationships.

3. Action-oriented: Look for organized, focused, and clear messages. Like logical connections between ideas. Good at identifying errors or inconsistencies in messages. May get impatient when speakers go on tangents or fail to get to the point in a reasonable manner. May jump to conclusions and get distracted, and may underestimate the emotional issues or concerns of the speaker.
4. Content-oriented: Look for details; analyze problems or situations well. Evaluate the quality of the message for clarity, accuracy, and understanding. Strive to obtain information. Elicit additional information from the speaker; ask speaker to expand on ideas. Tend to stay calm and composed, even when faced with aggression and personal attacks. May overemphasize details and become intimidated when asking direct questions of the speaker. May marginalize or undervalue some information, and may take a long time to make decisions
