Discuss and exemplify corporate cultures as subgroups and explain how they become established.

What will be an ideal response?

Corporate culture is “the way we do things around here,” or the set of values, goals, and priorities encouraged through the policies and procedures of the organization. Organizations can have their own symbols: their own argot, their own dress codes, and status symbols recognized by insiders only. Further, corporate cultures have their own values. In terms of the establishment, answers will vary, but may include a discussion of values, goals, and priorities that have been considered “the way we do things around here.” These are then normalized and encouraged through the policies and procedures of the organization.
