You are working with very large media files but want to temporarily edit on the move, using a laptop with a small hard drive. How can you temporarily use smaller, more heavily compressed versions of your media files?
What will be an ideal response?
As long as the file type remains the same, you can link your project to any
versions of your media files. Convert your original files to a small file size and
rename the original folders containing your clips so that Adobe Premiere
Pro searches for the files the next time you open the project. Direct Adobe
Premiere Pro to your new, smaller files. When you are ready to work with the
larger files again, reverse the process. No particular changes need to be made
to your project.
