List some physiological mechanisms to increase glomerular filtration rate (GFR).

What will be an ideal response?

Answer: A rise in pressure in the renal artery, vasodilation of the afferent arteriole or vasoconstriction of the efferent arteriole will all raise the hydrostatic pressure in the glomerulus, increasing GFR. A decrease in plasma proteins will also increase GFR.
