Why are some power bases extrinsic and others are intrinsic?

What will be an ideal response?

Legitimate, reward, and coercive power are all based on extrinsic factors, meaning
their power exists due to their authority or title. The authority resides in the position, not the
person. Referent, expert, and information power however, is intrinsic, meaning that these
powers exist due to traits that reside within the person based on either personality or
knowledge. It is possible for someone to possess both extrinsic and intrinsic power, and the
more power bases at ones disposal, the more influential that person can be over a group.
