What is sometimes the most creative and appropriate dramatic play area?
What will be an ideal response?
ANSWER: Sometimes it is one that has very little in it and does not have a specific theme. When a special “soft area” is created by adding some pillows, beanbag chairs, and a soft area rug, it becomes a totally child-directed dramatic play area. The children feel relaxed
and safe, free to be creative and imaginative. The pillows become props, as needed, or the children can bring in props from around the room.
