Briefly explain when you would first contact your students’ families and why.
What will be an ideal response?
It is important to know as much about your students as possible, so I would try to meet every family at the beginning of the year, or even before the start of the year if possible. It is also important not to anger the parents because they can be very emotional about their children, so starting a good relationship early makes it less likely there will be issues later.
