Describe the four forms of resistance.

What will be an ideal response?

(1) Introjection--occurs when clients take in life’s experiences without devoting time to savor, relish, and appreciate these experiences in ways that allow them to literally add substance to who they are in the process of becoming. (2) Projection--occurs when sensations, feelings, or thoughts experienced are rejected and attributed to other people, objects, or concepts; (3) Confluence--desires to be looked after by others and seeks to med with others by denying interpersonal differences; and (4) Retroflection--the tendency to do to their self what they desire to do to others.
