What is the difference between buzz and tingling?
What will be an ideal response?
Buzz comes in at a frequency of 50 to 100 Hz, about the frequency of an electric razor. It is often caused by a vibration in the exhaust system or an engine accessory like the air-conditioning compressor.
Tingling is vibration above 100 Hz. It feels like pins and needles in the steering wheel or through the floor. The EVA can pick up tingling problems, but a reed tachometer does not measure above 100 Hz.
