imperative to generate the greatest profits for their shareholders, and outsourcing allows
them to rely on labor power in low-income nations, where there are few or no worker
protections and/or hourly wages are far lower than in the home country.
3. The majority of the workforce in the global economy is found within low-income nations,
and millions of people in the United States have lost their jobs since manufacturing largely
moved overseas.
4. Globalization leads to poor working conditions and exploitation in low-income countries.
