Give an account of the seller's right to recover damages for breach of contract
What will be an ideal response?
If a buyer or lessee repudiates a sales or lease contract or wrongfully rejects tendered goods, the seller or lessor has the right to recover damages caused by the buyer's or lessee's breach. Generally, the amount of damages is calculated as the difference between the contract price or rent and the market price or rent of the goods at the time and place the goods were to be delivered to the buyer or lessee plus incidental damages.
