I chose the Minoan culture and the architectural piece, The Palace at Gournia. This palace, just like the palace at Knossos is a labyrinth, which may be a very prevalent cultural ideal the Minoans wanted to preserve. It also had a ginormous courtyard for the public to dwell. ALso, just like the Palace at Knossos, the Palace at Gournia was placed upon a hill on a very sharp slope. It contained numerous rooms with a very confusing architecture.
