Describe how a literature circle builds students’ motivation.
What will be an ideal response?
A literature circle builds motivation in several ways. First, students have choice in what they read. They are responsible for setting an agenda of how much they will read. Second, students build a sense of efficacy by learning and preforming specific roles while reading. Third, students have relative autonomy during the discussion working at their own pace.
