Third is Multisystemic Therapy for Child Abuse and Neglect (MST-CAN). This intervention addresses youth behavioral difficulties from an ecological systemic perspective. It emphasizes service provision, low caseloads, around the clock availability, time limited treatment, and comprehensive service provision. Finally, there is Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). There are two phases: child directed interaction and parent directed interaction over 14 treatment sessions. Focused on improving parent–child interaction.
