Define redistributive, distributive, and regulatory policies. Who benefits from each type of policy? Who is responsible for paying for each type of policy?

What will be an ideal response?

Ans: Redistributive policies are meant to help the disadvantaged by taking resources away from the affluent segments of society and distributing them to those who are less affluent. In redistributive policies, the disadvantaged benefit and the middle class and wealthy citizens pay for the policy. A distributive policy has the goal of meeting the needs of a specific group. Members of targeted groups benefit from distributive policies, and all taxpayers pay for this type of policy. Regulatory policies aim to limit or control the actions of a group or individuals. The public generally benefits from regulatory policies, and targeted groups pay for these policies.
