You want to assess the personality of family members, looking for similarities and differences. How would a twin study help you with your research?

What will be an ideal response?

Answer: A twin study examines sets of twins raised apart and sets raised together in an effort to determine which characteristics of each person were caused by genetics and which by environment. Since identical twins share 100% of the same genetic material, they are biologically very similar. Therefore, if personality variation is due more to genetics, identical twins raised apart should be similar their personalities.
