How are drivers confronted in truck-hijacking robberies?
What will be an ideal response?
Drivers of rigs may be confronted at roadblocks, or "detours," set up by hijackers. They may be forced from the road or accosted by the hijackers as they enter or leave truck rest stops. Some drivers have been tricked into stopping to help a "disabled" motorist. In more brazen moves, hijackers may invade truck parks, seize or kill security personnel, and take the trucks that they have targeted.
