Ans: The testicular blood supply is important for proper functioning of the organ.The testicular artery is a branch of abdominal aorta which initiate blood flow to testes.It is a paired artery with one for each of the testes.It is seen down the abdomen and pass through spermatic cord and divides into branches and connects with ductus deferens. It supplys epididymis with the help of artery of ductus deferens and supply the substance of testis.The venous drainage is possible through paired testicular veins which is formed from plexus.The left testicular veins drains into left renal vein and right testicular vein drains into inferior vena cava.
It is important because the blood flow maintains oxygen supply and prevents testicular hypoxia to reduce oxygen content in the inspired air.
