How did the Capetian dynasty in particular engage in the centralization of authority?

What will be an ideal response?

Although they started off, in most cases, poorer than their nobility after the demise of the Carolingian dynasty, the Capetians derived their income from the lands around Paris. In the twelfth and thirteenth centuries, the Capetian kings accrued a lot of land by seizing it from former vassals and redistributing it to a new, dependent nobility. The Capetians also used the Parlement, a judicial body, to enforce royal law, with the cooperation of the lesser nobility acting as counselors as well as vassals.
