Elevated blood pressure is when readings consistently range from 120-129 systolic and <80 diastolic. High blood pressure or hypertension is when systolic is consistently 130-139 and diastolic is 8-89. High blood pressure can cause increased fatigue, difficulty walking and exercising, It is also the leading cause of strokes and a major risk for heart attacks and kidney failure.
