What are dummy and special targets? What are they used for? Give an example makefile that illustrates the use of both types of targets.
What will be an ideal response?
Dummy targets are targets that do not exist but allow you to force an event which would not usually take place. For example in the previous question, a file name build does not exist but it can be used to build both spiderc and spiderg. Special targets are predefigned targets which are treated in a special way.
